During our river walk, we had many adventures. We stopped at a small restaurant for lunch, right by the river. After exploring the Alamo and downtown, it was time for dinner. We had heard about Rosairio's, one of the best Mexican restaurants in San Antonio, and decided to give it a try.
We were not disappointed, and the food was delicious. I ordered the Albóndigas con Arroz, which was a combination of ground beef and pork meatballs cooked in a rich, fire-roasted tomato and chipotle sauce. It was garnished with queso fresco and sweet potato hay and served with Poblano rice.
Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well, and the service was excellent despite the restaurant being quite busy. There were three large groups of over 20 people each, a bus with a private party upstairs, and a small private party in one of the side rooms. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend Rosairio's.
Rosario's Restuarant
Mariachi Band played at a private party upstairs. We actually saw them on TV the next day!
