Y Knot Winery

We hit the road around 10 AM for our trip to Glenn Ferry, ID which took a little over 4.5 hours. There is a time change in there, so we had to move our clocks forward. It was windy as we got closer to Glenn Ferry, so that slowed us down a bit.

We made it to Y Knot Winery RV resort where we are currently staying at a brand new site. Check-in was okay, although it was hard to figure out where to go once we got through town and to the winery. The signs are not clearly marked, that could be due to it be off season. There is an older RV site available, but we are not sure how we got to the new site instead of the old one, when we booked the site. When we went to the winery, they said no, we are in the new site.

We are currently the only ones occupying the RV spot, and we believe there might be another RV at an older site nearby. We discovered that the winery's facilities include a golf course. However, we have to pay for Wi-Fi, so I'm using my phone's hotspot instead. The temperature was 68 degrees when we arrived. Although it can get quite hot here, it will be pleasant once the trees grow bigger. The sites are level, and the shore power is either 30 or 50 amp, both of which are new. Additionally, the water pumps and sewer facilities are also new.

It felt strange waking up and being the only people out in the middle of this RV park. We saw lots of RVs heading down the road, and we believed they are going to Three Island Crossing State Park.
