Unloading the Camper

Now that we're back home, it's been raining for the past few days. We are grateful to our neighbor who mowed our lawn, or else our grass would have looked like a hayfield. Can't believe how tall it is over 10 inches, where he couldn't reach with the mower and we need to weed whack!

Next up, we will need to unload the camper, clean it up inside, and wash and wax it again. The front of the cap is covered in bugs, so it needs a good scrubbing. I wash all the sheets, towels, rugs, etc., and clean the walls, floors, shower, and other surfaces. I dust everything so that when we go out again, everything is clean, and we just need to load up our food and clothes.

Although we brought generators with us, we never used them. However, on a long trip like that again, we would bring them just in case we need them. You never know what the situation might be.

Jacks down Home

After traveling a total of 7,084 miles, we have finally arrived at our last stop. We have learned so much, from jacks up to jacks down.

The jack stands will be in use for a while. We're not sure where we'll go next, but we'll probably check out some local spots near where we live.

During our trip, we covered a lot of ground, but there is still so much more to explore!

Columbia Riverfront Rv park, Woodland WA

We made it to our final stop before heading home. This RV spot is fantastic! The sites are level and spacious for pull-thrus. We loved being so close to the river; we could walk on the beach and watch some cargo ships come in. The park was well maintained, with no highway noise, and easy access off the highway.
We had a small issue arise, I guess when the oil was checked in the truck, the cap either was forgotten or wasn't tight enough, so luckily as we were leaving there is an O Riely auto store, just at the end of the road we were on, along with the gas station right next to the auto store. Cap on, Gassed up, heading for home.

Pizza on the road

When in a hurry to pack up and hit the road, there's no time for breakfast in the camper. But, you can always grab a delicious pizza from the truck stop!

Wildhorse RV Park and Casino

On March 20th, we stayed here before embarking on our adventure of over 5600 miles. Since our last visit, the trees have grown leaves. So one can say that we have made it full circle on this journey.

Columbia Riverfront RV Park, Woodland WA

"We made it! This is our final stop on the road trip, and we will be heading back home tomorrow."

We're currently at a lovely RV park which is our last stop before heading back home tomorrow.
We've had the chance to talk to some of the residents here and they've informed us that some people stay for the entire summer, while others stay for a month or so.
Apparently, during March and April, the smelt come through and the sea lions make an appearance, which is quite exciting. The park is very peaceful and we haven't heard any highway noise. It's well-maintained and clean.
