We visited Bar 46 & Casino at the RV spot and used our free drink coupon. We enjoyed some great bar food, which was frozen pizza and wings.

Black Hills Station RV and Campround, Piedmont South Dakota
Jacks are down. Made it to Piedmont, South Dakota. It's 91 degrees, so setting up was a little warm. We are at Black Hills Station RV and Campground. The site was pretty level and the RV site was easy to find. They have a little bar/casino here--we were given a free drink coupon when we checked in so will have to check out the bar. Tried to sleep last night but the highway noise was unreal. It seemed like it echo all night long. Other than the highway noise, which was huge, the RV spot is quiet and nice. I don't know how anyone could sleep and get use to that noise. Other places it always seemed to quiet down, but not here.
Rest stop Kaycee Wyoming
Stopped at a rest stop outside of Casper, Kaycee rest stop. Never seen a livestock exercise area. Oh, and I do have to say, I am loving the new truck! I think Mr. G is liking it more and more! Ole Blackie ( our old 2000 dodge ram truck) is becoming a memory.
Owls and antelope
Went out again to search for antelope and, as expected, we encountered those adorable little burrowing owls. Had another wonderful day with my daughter—such a lovely evening after a day spent on the dusty roads of Wyoming chasing after that antelope. The sunset was great! And Ferguson is still great! Jacks will be coming up today and heading to South Dakota for our next stop.

Dusty road adventures
Went out with Tylor Stankey and Kristine Goutermont Collins on a bow hunting dusty road adventure, searching for that elusive antelope buck. We saw some grouse, observed the owls again in daylight, and encountered cows and antelope. Been a nice little visit here, going to head to the store to stock up on some things and plan on heading out tomorrow--Destination, Piedmont, South Dakota.

We love Ferguson
Ferguson is our daughter's wild burro that she adopted. She also has Moose, who is the brown one. Our daughter has really worked with Ferguson to train him, and he has become a great burro.
She adopted Ferguson through the BLM program and had 100 days from the adoption date to enter Ferguson in a competition to show her progress in training him. She ended up taking 2nd place, missing first by just one point. Ferguson has a special place in all of our hearts. I think he needed her as much as she needed him.KOA Ellensburg Washington
