The day was filled with adventure and encounters with wildlife. The low tide revealed numerous sea creatures, and we visited a fascinating bunker. Fortunately, the weather was on our side! We will definitely return to this locale. Although we have previously visited just to explore and stroll, we never had the chance to stay longer. The park is lovely and tranquil, with clean restrooms. Again, this park fills up fast, so best to make reservations

Salt Creek Recreation Area
Regarded as the premier destination for shore diving in Washington state, the Salt Creek Recreation Area boasts an awe-inspiring underwater park brimming with sea life such as urchins, anemones, sea cucumbers, and wolf eels. The underwater kelp forest is most lush during the summer and autumn months. Choose from four distinct entry points, with the staircase at campsite #63 providing the most convenient access.
Reservations are advisable due to the high demand for these scenic spots. Embark on a hike to discover a waterfall, investigate WWII bunkers, and capture memorable photographs. This tranquil haven feels worlds apart from the frenetic pace of highways and urban centers.
